At Baptist Health, leadership extends beyond hospital walls. As Arkansas’s leading not-for-profit health system, we’re deeply invested in the well-being of our communities—through wellness and health programs, prenatal education, school partnerships, nutrition and food insecurity efforts, chronic disease management and education programs, mobile health unit initiatives, community health fairs and screening events, and more. Our leaders play a vital role in shaping these programs, building partnerships, and expanding access to care. Here are some of our key community outreach programs making an impact every day.

Community Wellness Centers

Providing comprehensive health and wellness support—including preventive screenings, education, food and equipment assistance, mental health screenings, and essential supplies—for individuals and families across Central Arkansas.

Community Vaccination Clinics

Offering mass flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics and childhood immunizations.

Community Based Prenatal Education Programs

Empowering new and expectant parents through in-person and virtual prenatal and postpartum education, infant safety classes, essential baby supplies, and support centers like Heaven’s Loft and the Little Rock Prenatal Wellness Center.

Partners in Education Programs

Promoting lifelong health through school-based initiatives—including healthy cooking demonstrations, employee wellness screenings, nutrition education, and free athletic physicals for students in North Little Rock and Jacksonville School Districts.

Nutrition & Food Insecurity Programs

Addressing hunger and promoting healthy living through cooking classes for adults and children, personalized nutrition counseling, grocery store tours, food pantries, and a variety of supportive nutrition and food insecurity programs for youth and families.
