Leading at Baptist Health Arkansas feat. Bethany Baca

Bethany Baca has been with Baptist Health since May of 2013. She had been working here for three years when she was on her way to assist in the opening of the Baptist Health - Conway Regional Hospital and her supervisor asked if she would be willing to take on a new role. Since 2016, Bethany has been the Supervisor of the Non-Invasive Cardiac Lab.We caught up with Bethany to hear from her how Baptist Health leaves a mark on our community. As a leader at Baptist Health, how do you feel you are also a leader in the community of Little Rock and Arkansas?

The team here at Baptist Health is held to higher standards. We believe in our core values and quality patient care. As a representative of Baptist Health, I try to exemplify those same values in my daily interactions with people, both inside the hospital and out.

Outside of health care, how does Baptist Health aid the community?

My team and I are very close with our patients in the cardiac lab. Seeing what we see every day inspires us to support fundraisers like the Heart Walk, which is a walk to help fight against heart disease. In addition to that, Baptist Health sponsors a farmer’s market to help the local economy and the community. It’s a great way to give back to the community we serve, show we care and demonstrate our core values.

What makes you proud to be a leader at Baptist Health?

The team environment and collaboration efforts! We move in joint compassion, have a family-like bond and, of course, we’re always willing to assist each other. We promote growth in one another and navigate through challenges together.

We value our leaders here at Baptist Health and the contributions they make not just to us, but to our community. If you’re interested in becoming a part of Baptist Health, visit our careers page and apply today!
